We need a dynamic, charismatic superstar to both sell to advertisers and manage our existing team. You must be creative and resourceful. You should be super curious and passionate about innovation – we can blow your mind with our access to AR, AI, VR and things you don’t even know about yet. You should be comfortable being the disrupter and able to persuade advertisers/agencies that tried and true is a great way to go out of business. You need to be able to learn quickly and simplify complex things succinctly to give advertisers the skinny on why this is awesome for them.

You will report directly to the Founder/CEO.

You must be…

An Outstanding Presenter: Poise, gravitas, charisma, ability to think quickly on your feet. You need to be able to sit comfortably in front of the CMO and talk about advertising, ask great questions and present solutions on the fly. You also need to bond with 24 year-old media buyers. Cool and smart. We want the best of the best.

A Player/Coach: We are looking for someone with a proven network of advertisers and agencies to sell to, as well as to manage our fast growing sales team.

A Master of Consultative Sales: This isn’t spots and dots. We are selling never been done before and we have options to show. If you want cookie-cutter, please don’t apply. You will be juggling many cool ideas – you must love that flexibility and be able to pull the right rabbit, for the right hat.

Great at Asking Questions: Politely probing questions to get to what is really needed and then be able to dip into our bag of tricks to provide THE perfect solution.

Approachable But Tough: We need a mentor/coach that inspires our sales team to continue our fantastic growth. We need a mentor/coach to make sure sales team hits KPIs like meetings per week, revenue targets, etc.  We need a mentor/coach that is always fair, but able to hold each person accountable for their success as you will be held accountable for your own.

Charismatic/Persuasive: Need to be charismatic & practical to inspire advertisers to take chances.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Proven Advertiser + Agency Contacts: particularly excited about mid-west (Chi/Detroit), Pacific NW (Seattle, Portland, SF). But all proven relationships will be taken under consideration and give you an advantage.
  • A Closer. It’s all about delivering results.
  • Staying up to speed on industry trends.
  • Securing senior level meetings client side and strategic planning side.
  • Develop custom marketing ideas on a pro-active basis using our innovative experiential and digital clients.
  • Handle calls with our Featured Partners (the innovative companies we work with) on a weekly basis to advise them on progress (be responsible for delivering revenue to these partners).
  • Oversee weekly reporting to be sent to Featured Partners.


VentureFuel is HQ’d in NYC. The ideal candidate fits the above first and foremost. We are a distributed group of folks with offices in multiple cities, so geography will not be the deciding factor. That said, our preference is NY, LA, SF or Chicago.
