Director of Corporate Partnerships
What We Are Looking For: An “entrepreneur” who can open doors at large corporations to sell a service or product; you earned a seat at the table despite being at an unknown startup and/or have sold services to large organizations that now see you as a partner (even if you didn’t have the right product/service); you knock down walls and have a find-a-way vibe – but you also, respect the scale and strategy of decision-makers at large organizations.

You will be on the frontlines of our sales team, working and learning side-by-side with our CEO (who has run multiple large, successful sales teams) as well as work with some of the largest, most prestigious corporations in the world.

Your Role:
As the Director of Corporate Partnerships your job is to win new clients. This includes:
- Identifying potential clients and demonstrating how we solve their challenges.
- Engaging with prospective clients via virtual and in-person meetings and representing VentureFuel at key events.
- Nurturing relationships and facilitating communication via timely and actionable emails (thank you notes with next steps), writing proposals and developing strategic plans.
- Working closely with our innovation team, marketing team and executive team on go-to-market strategy to ensure we over-deliver for each client.
More About You: Charismatic, strategic thinker with strong communication skills (oral and written). You are fueled by self-driven initiative with a passion for innovation, emerging technology, and excitement for what’s next (optimism). You are a great presenter and an authentic trusted partner. You learn quickly and simplify complex concepts in a succinct, clear manner. Your follow up is fast and thorough. You know Microsoft (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), LinkedIn and HubSpot (or similar CRM). You have proven sales success, ideally in/around consulting, corporate innovation, Venture Capital, or the startup ecosystem.
Geography:
- This role is remote. HQ is in NYC, but our team is fully distributed across the US.
- Work authorized for the US is required.
