Director of Innovation & Partnerships
What We Are Looking For: Experienced innovator, former founder and/or project manager who can manage relationships and deliver innovation programs (accelerators, pilot programs, research) for our corporate clients. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented strategic thinker with strong communication skills and a passion for the startup and innovation ecosystem.

Your Role:
As a Director of Innovation & Partnerships, your job is to deliver innovation programs for our corporate clients (F500, government, large non-profit).
You will be expected to:
- Lead day-to-day communications with clients (verbal and written) to understand their business and innovation priorities and communicate strategy and recommendations
- Research, source and recruit innovative startup solutions for corporate innovation programs
- Lead calls with startups and coach them on best positioning for clients (serving as the translator between corporates and startups)
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget to hit client KPIs
- Represent VentureFuel in the startup/investor community
- Manage a direct report (or multiple) to deliver on team responsibilities and goals
More About You: You are intellectually curious, results-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. You can work independently but enjoy collaborating with a team and rolling up your sleeves to help support broader team and company strategy. You take pride in effective communication and synthesizing complex ideas or processes to drive actionable outcomes.
Previous work experience may include (but is not limited to):
- Consulting, Management Consulting
- Project Management (ideally with tech focus)
- Corporate Innovation, Corporate Partnerships or Strategy Roles (in large orgs)
- Startup Founder or Early Employee
Geography:
- This role is remote.
- Work authorization for the US is required.
