VentureFuel’s Contest Celebrates The Top Innovator As Voted By Peers

NEW YORK CITY (March 19, 2019) – VentureFuel, the company that connects established companies with emerging technologies and startups, announced today that PepsiCo, Inc.’s Jaime Fabricant was voted its annual Visionary of the Year.

The Visionary of the Year is voted on by innovation peers at corporations, venture capital firms and startups to determine which corporate executive is the most innovative and best embraces new technologies to solve real business challenges. Thousands voted for the elite field of finalists that included executives from Beam Suntory, Principal Financial Group, AB InBev, Comcast/NBC Universal, Pernod Ricard, The Hershey Company, Miller Coors, General Mills and many more.

Jaime Fabricant is the Director of the Store of the Future team at PepsiCo Beverages, where she is helping PepsiCo explore the evolution of the retail landscape, so they can best partner with retailers to drive the future of the beverage shopping experience. Jaime has been recognized in the past with awards including Women in Tech, Product of the Year, and Best Event Technology. She has also received the Platinum Hermes Creative Award for developing PepsiCo Fast Pitch – a platform connecting PepsiCo Beverage marketers with the creative community to collaboratively pitch PepsiCo business ideas for rapid experimentation.

“PepsiCo is an organization that continues to prioritize innovation; embracing new emerging technologies allows us to keep pace with the speed of innovation.” said Fabricant. “It’s important to work collaboratively with our amazing agency partners and also with start-ups, entrepreneurs, and all creators. Doing this well helps our brands remain relevant and innovative because that’s what today’s shoppers and consumers want and expect from us.”

“Jaime is a one-of-a-kind mix of practical results and visionary thinking. She embraces what is next, thinks creatively and pushes for the extraordinary, but always with an eye towards ROI and actual business impact,” said Fred Schonenberg, Founder of VentureFuel. “Her PepsiCo Fast Pitch program is still one of my favorite examples of how to do corporate innovation the right way, to drive collaboration, employee engagement and executive buy-in. In a field of the best-of-the-best corporate innovators, Jaime is truly in rarified air and her peers took notice with their votes.”
